About Our Company

Nasiff Fruit Company traces it’s roots back to the year 1929.  For three generations we have been striving to provide the best value and service that our customers have come to expect. Our current management team has over eighty-five years of combined experience in the produce business. As such, we have built a solid reputation with our customers based on a longstanding tradition of integrity and excellence.  Servicing many of southeastern New England’s finest foodservice establishments, we are known for our outstanding customer service, friendly attitude, as well as for providing our customers with the freshest, finest product at the right price. 

Our mission statement is “To control the quality from the grower to you”. In a never-ending pursuit to maintain that control, we have partnered with some of the top suppliers of produce in the world, including Dole, Delmonte and River Ranch, to name a few. Our buyers procure product from all growing areas with increasing emphasis on locally grown product from area farms.  Once product is received in our fully temperature controlled facility, orders are shipped via our modern fleet of refrigerated trucks.

The beauty of the Nasiff operation is that we can provide our customers with a full line of high quality produce, all the while maintaining a close working relationship with each and every one of them.  We are committed to food safety and investing in the latest technologies and equipment, as evidenced by out state-of-the-art warehouses and fully refrigerated truck fleet.  In addition, we employ an in-house Quality Control Task Force whose purpose is to monitor the temperature of all coolers, pre-cool trucks daily and to inspect the quality of all stock items from the receiving docks to the customer’s door. 

Our everyday inventory includes a cast array of conventionally grown produce.  We have a large line of pre-cut fruit and vegetables as well as an ever-growing selection of local and organically grown fruits and vegetables. Beginning in 2009 we will be adding to our everyday inventory a full line of BST-free dairy products from the region’s top dairy suppliers and manufacturers.
